The team at Cafe Nucleus was very lucky to have a visit and tasting from Hush Heath Vineyard, who produce award winning wines here in Kent. The team tasted a variety of sparkling and still wines and Jakes Ciders, both the wines and ciders are single estate grown in the grounds of the Hush Heath estate.
Their vision is to create English Pink Sparkling wine to rival the finest fizz from Champagne and the rest of the world.
Their story begins here, deep in Kent, the Garden of England. It leads you through the perfectly manicured Hush Heath vineyards, orchards and ancient woodlands. The story ends at our state of the art winery where beautiful wines and ciders are produced by great people with international awards and recognition.

NANNETTE’S ENGLISH ROSÉ 2013
Nannette’s (named after Richard Balfour-Lynn’s youngest daughter), is a unique rosé made from the same Champagne varietals as the Balfour.
It is a blend of 75% Pinot Noir and Meunier finessed with 25% Chardonnay.

Named after the producer’s wife, Leslie, this delicious, traditional-method, English sparkling wine is made from selected cuvées and blended for a young, fresh style.
Cool fermentation in our state- of-the-art stainless steel vats ensures a clean, varietal fruit character. Secondary fermentation in the bottle is followed by a minimum of twelve months lees ageing.
